Restorative Yoga & Tension Release

This is a gentle and deeply relaxing class. A real treat for body and mind! No previous experience necessary.
With over 30 years experience of teaching Yoga, Pilates, Movement and Meditation, I have now designed this class with focus on releasing tension in both body and mind.
The class consists of
Restorative Yoga Postures
- relaxing postures/positions where you simply relax and let go. Everyone can do these postures.
Gentle Stretching and Limbering
- easy movements to improve mobility.
Fascia Release
- gentle and specific movements to release tension and stiffness in face, neck, shoulders, back, hips, arms, hands, legs and feet.
Gentle Breathing Exercises
- very simple breathing exercises to move away from upper chest breathing to diaphragmatic breathing.
Deep Guided Relaxation
- a lovely deep relaxation at the end of the class.
With all exercises and movements you work within your own ability. You will never strain or push beyond your limits. I will be guiding you in each exercise and helping you to find a comfortable and correct position that works for you.
